Daniel Liliedahl, Founder & Chief Technology Officer

AFTER YEARS OF advanced engineering work with companies like FutureTense, Mystic River Systems, Intellution, and Butler Automation, Dan Liliedahl started eFoundry, Inc. The firm's inception was driven by Dan’s vast experience in consulting, engineering design, and the implementation and deployment of critical Web infrastructures and applications. This knowledge provided a clear view of the enormous challenges organizations face as they create enterprise-level e-businesses. In particular, was the concern of building and launching the right technology foundation. The array of products then, as now is overwhelming and the expertise needed to build and implement a system, highly specialized. These continue to be major issues that undermine companies’ IT resources and significantly increase costs. Dan clearly thought there was a better way.

Combining his unique experience with a select group of seasoned Java engineers and e-business experts, Dan started eFoundry to solve the significant technology problems around doing business on the Internet. His choice was to create an organization with a huge range of expertise or specialize in one critical area. Dan chose focus. Today the firm’s services are based on delivering exceptional Web infrastructures and applications based on Java and XML standards--including outstanding knowledge in the area of content management and Web Services.
